Ruth Elizabeth Magels

Ruth Elizabeth Magels, 95, of Wapello, died Friday evening, March 11, 2005, at Unity Hospital in Muscatine.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 15 at the United Methodist Church in Wapello, with the Rev. Harlan W. Winter officiating. Burial will be in Wapello Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 8:30 p.m. today at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, with family present form 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. An Order of the Eastern Star service will be at 6:30 p.m. A memorial has been established to the American Red Cross.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Campbell of Chicago, and Lelia Nichols of Orlando, Fla.; and four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
