Ruth Ella Allen

      Ruth Ella Allen, 79, of Spencer, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at Avera-McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.

      A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church in Spencer, with the Rev. Dan Mayes officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.

      Visitation with the family will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.

      Mrs. Allen was born Aug. 10, 1928, in Gillett Grove, the daughter of Arthur and Georgia Logan Hamrick. She married Milo "Mike" Allen Dec. 31, 1945, in Jackson, Minn. He died in 1991.
