Ruth Evelyn Higgins
Ruth Evelyn Higgins, 84, of Burlington, died Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 5:44 a.m. at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 23 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Burlington with the Rev. Patrick Hilgendorf officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. There will be a Christian wake service on Thursday evening at 6 p.m with a family visitation following until 7:30 p.m., with music provided by the Des Moines County Resurrection Choir. A memorial service has been established for Sts. Mary and Patrick Catholic Church.
