Ruth L. Runyon

      Ruth L. Runyon, 80, of rural Hillsboro, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hillsboro Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Doerr officiating. Burial will be in Hillsboro Cemetery.

      Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Beatty-Murphy Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, where the family will be present from 6-8 p.m.

      Memorials may be made to Hillsboro Baptist Church.

      Mrs. Runyon was born Oct. 14, 1926, in rural Stockport, the daughter of George France and Bertha Ellen Standley Watson. She married William L. "Billy" Runyon Nov. 7, 1948, in Fairfield.
