Ruth L. Schooley
Ruth L. Schooley, 92, formerly of Batavia, died Monday, June 23, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kremer Funeral Chapel in Batavia, with the Rev. Harlan Van Voorst officiating. Interment will be in Batavia Cemetery.
Open visitation is from 1-8 p.m. today at the chapel.
Memorials may be directed to the Batavia Public Library.
Mrs. Schooley was born Jan. 30, 1916, in Keokuk, the daughter of John and Nancy Pope Singer. She married W.K. "Bud" Schooley Dec. 15, 1941, in Wapello County.
