Ruth LaVon Hermanstorfer
Ruth LaVon Hermanstorfer, 84, of the Sigourney area, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, following a short illness.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Holm Funeral Home in Sigourney. Burial will follow in the Sigourney Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m., Friday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials are being established to help with Alzheimer's Disease research, and can be directed to the Holm Funeral Home.
