Ruth Leichty Graber

      WAYLAND-Ruth Leichty Graber, 86, of Wayland, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Bob Hartzler and the Rev. Pam Unruh officiating. Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Friday at the church, where the family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made for the Parkview Home new family room. Beatty Funeral Home of Wayland is assisting with arrangements.

      Mrs. Graber was born June 21, 1920, in Wayland, to Omar and Glenora (Peden) Swartzendruber. She married Leonard Leichty June 6, 1940, and they lived in the Noble area. He preceded her in death in 1986. She married Raymond Schlatter. He preceded her in death in 1992. She married La Verne Graber, Oct. 10, 1998.
