Ruth Lewis
Ruth Lewis, 83, of Washington, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Mark Young officiating. Burial will be in Columbus City Cemetery in Columbus Junction. Visitation begins at noon on Thursday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to high school scholarships for nursing education.
