Ruth Maxine Penn

Ruth Maxine Penn, 74, of Mt. Pleasant died at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, April 30, 2000, at the Henry County Health Center.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Henry Ledbetter officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. this evening at the Beatty Funeral Home, with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorials in her name may be established to Hope Haven.

Mrs. Penn was born Oct. 16, 1926, in Noble, the daughter of Andy and Fannie Ford Brownell. She married Dale C. Penn on April 22, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Judy Maxine Penn of Mt. Pleasant; and a sister, Marcelene Jordan of Mt. Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; and a brother.
