Ruth Peterson
Ruth DeLong Peterson, 92, of Wayland and formerly of New London, died Saturday Nov. 29, at the Parkview Home in Wayland.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Elliott Chapel, New London with the Rev. Dot Hasler officiating. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with family present from 10 a.m. until time of the service.
A memorial has been established to the New London United Methodist Church.
She was born Aug. 20, 1916 near Lowell in Henry County, Iowa, and the daughter of Louis Leroy and Edna Pearl Britton DeLong. On May 30, 1937, she married Wesley C. Peterson in Salem.
