Ruth W. Gipple August 16, 1919 - July 26, 2005

      Ruth Williams Gipple, 85, of Columbus Junction, died tuesday, July 26, 2005 at Manor Court of Peru, Ill.

      A memorial service for Ruth will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2005 at the Presbyterian Church in Columbus Junction. Burial will follow at the Columbus City Cemetery. Burial will be at the Columbus City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Presbyterian Church in Columbus Junction. Honts Funeral Home in Winfield is assisting with arrangements.

      Survivors include her husband, five children, Danny and his wife Joyce Gipple of Wapello, Melvin and his wife Irene Gipple of Crawfordsville, Susie and her husband Jim Stoutner of Peru, Ill., Nancy and her husband Bob Thorkildson of Shellsburg and Alice and her husband Todd Redalen of Edgerton, Wisc.; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Maglona Block and Rosella Crawford.
