Ruthelma 'Ruth' Theresa Ossman

      Ruthelma "Ruth" Theresa Ossman, 81, of Washington died Wednesday, April 25, 2007 in her residence following a battle with Lou Gehrig's Disease.

      Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 28 in the St. James Catholic Church in Washington with the Rev. Ed O'Melia officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Friday in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 Friday in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Memorials may be made for a communications device for the Hospice or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

      Mrs. Ossman was born May 18, 1925 in Mt. Hamill, the daughter of Anthony and Veronica (Conrad) Woltering. She married Harold Ossman on June 28, 1947 in Keota.
