Samuel T. Allums

      Samuel T. Allums, 23, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Keosauqua, died of leukemia at 3 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2001, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, at Keosauqua United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ellis Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Center Chapel Cemetery southeast of Keosauqua. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16 at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with family present from 7 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, 1515 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, Texas 77030, and may be sent to the center, left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 7180 Gaston Ave., Dallas Texas, 75200.
