Sandra M. Duke February 28, 1940 - November 7, 2003

Sandra M. Duke, 63, of Burlington, died on Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at her home.

      The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15 at the West Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Porter officiating. The body was donated to the University of Iowa College of Medicine for scientific purposes. There will be no visitation. Memorials have been established to West Hill United Methodist Church and the VFW Auxiliary.

      Survivors include two daughters, Sherri Schlagel of Mt. Pleasant, and Kelli Miller of Terre Haute, Ind.; a son, Blane Scott Butler of Omaha, Neb.; and seven grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, three brothers and one sister.
