Sandra Sue Elmore, a longtime resident of

Southeast Iowa, passed away peacefully in her home in Laquey, Mo., on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019. Sandy went to Oskaloosa High School. Sandy held degrees in food service supervision, dietary services, youth detention, and spent several years as an over the road truck driver with her husband, Marvin. Sandy enjoyed travel, fishing, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.

Proceeded in death by her husband, Marvin Elmore; parents, Dale and Betty White; and two brothers, Tommy and Jim White

Survived by two sisters, Becky Manning and Velda White Barrett; five children, Roxann Ross, Martin Elmore, Rosann Elmore, Andy Lopez and Mick (Jennifer) Elmore; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many others that called her Mom or MeeMaw.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the Assembly of God Church, 109 West South St., Mount Pleasant, IA 52641. All are welcome to join Sandy's family for a celebration of her life.
