Sara J. Peetz

Peetz, Sara J., age 44, Omaha. Born June 5, 1963 in Mt. Pleasant; died Dec. 29, 2007 at her home in Omaha. Preceded in death by parents, Donald and Mary Louise McCormick. Survived by husband, Larry B. Peetz; children: Ryan, Thomas, Caroline and Meredith, all of Omaha; sisters, Ann Link and husband John of Grangeville, Ind., Jane Coughlin and husband Jim of Boise, Idaho, Mary McCormick of Kalamazoo, Mich., Kay Rose and husband David of Salt Lake City, Utah, Barbara Wettach and husband Jeff of Decorah, Martha Huser and husband Timothy of Sac City, Margaret Gardon and husband Mark of Green Bay, WI, Chris Hunting and husband Joe of Rochester, Ind.; brothers: Philip McCormick and wife Christy, John McCormick and wife Denise, Patrick McCormick, all of Mt. Pleasant; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Vigil Service was Tuesday, Jan. 1, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Omaha. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. today at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial was at Resurrection Cemetery in Omaha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society or Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Visitation was Tuesday at the West Center Chapel, which is handling arrangements, and Christ the King Church.
