Sarah A. Ensminger, 94, of Mt. Pleasant died at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at the Mapleleaf Health Care Center.

The private family service will be Friday, Feb. 4, with the Rev. Kiboko Kiboko officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Memorials have been established to the Mapleleaf Health Care Center.

Mrs. Ensminger was born Jan. 18, 1906, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of John and Sarah Kelly Dougherty. She married Home J. Ensminger on Aug. 8, 1930, in Galesburg, Ill. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her friends and family.

Survivors include her son, John Ensminger of Mediapolis; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her half-brother.
