Sarah J. Webb

      Sarah J. Webb, 94, formerly of Batavia, died Saturday, March 10, 2007, at Good Samaritan Center in Ottumwa.

      A funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Batavia United Methodist Church, with Dennis Hull and the Revs. Bob Dvorak and Dan Davis officiating. Interment will be in Batavia Cemetery.

      Open visitation will began at noon today at Kremer Funeral Chapel in Batavia, where the family will be present from 7-8 p.m.

                  Memorials may be directed to Batavia United Methodist Church.

      Mrs. Webb was born May 13, 1912, in Eddyville, the daughter of Lafayette and Ida Ellen Roberts Griggs. She married Russell J. Webb May 29, 1935, in Ottumwa. He died Aug. 17, 1985.
