Scott Allen Welcher

Scott Allen Welcher, 45, of Manchester, died Thursday, June 15, 2000, at Lake Delhi following a drowning accident.

The funeral service will be Monday, June 19, at the United Methodist Church in Manchester with the Rev. David Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery of Manchester. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home of Manchester, and after 12:30 p.m. Monday at the church.

Mr. Welcher was born December 11, 1954, at Waterloo, the son of Bill and Donna Jean Joy Welcher. He has done mostly roofing work over the years in the Manchester and Waterloo area.

Survivors include his three sons, Chad and Christopher of Manchest er and Tyler of Waterloo; one daughter, Jamie Ann Welcher of Waterloo; his parents of Manchester; one brother, Larry of Waterloo; one sister, Vickie Beatty of Manchester; maternal grandmother Ada Joy of Waterloo; and Lori Welcher of the household.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Cecil Joy, and his paternal grandparents Frank and Mary Welcher.
