Scott B. Jarvis

Scott B. Jarvis, 50, of Donnellson, died at 9:54 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Hofbauer-Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson, with the Rev. Judy Holcomb officiating. Burial will be in the Evangelical Cemetery in Donnellson. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8 at the funeral home, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jacob and his wife Christine Jarvis of Danville; two daughters, Alexandria Holtkamp of West Point, and Tisha Jarvis and her fiance Shawn Pulis of Donnellson; three grandchildren; his parents, James and his wife Pat Jarvis of Burlington, and Berdita and her husband LaVelle Hibbs of New London; three brothers, John and his wife Debbie Pennock of Clarence, Mo., Mike and his wife Lori Jarvis of Franklin, and Chris Jarvis of Iowa City; and two sisters, LaVita Hibbs and Berdelle Noel, both of New London.

      He was preceded in death by a daughter, Miranda; and two brothers, Charles and Jeff Jarvis.
