Scott Bradley Cook

Scott Bradley Cook, 44, of 2897 New London Road in New London died Monday, April 17, 2000, at the Genesis Medical Center in Davenport.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20, at Elliott Chapel in New London with the Rev. Rod Cooper officiating. Interment will be in the Burge Cemetery in New London. Friends may call until 8 p.m. this evening at Elliott Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening. A memorial has been established to help pay for the funeral.

Mr. Cook was born Sept. 15, 1955, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Lester and Goldie D. Jones Cook. He loved music and was an Elvis Presley fan. He enjoyed his friends and family. He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his parents of New London; two sisters, Leslie Johnson of Carman, Ill. and Julie Schlarbaum of Salem; three nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
