Senator Edgar H. Holden
DAVENPORT - Former Iowa State Senator Edgar H. Holden, 87, of Davenport, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2001, at Crest Health Care Center in Davenport.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at Our Savior Presbyterian Church in rural LeClaire. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in LeClaire. Visitation continues through 8 p.m. this evening at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport, and will also take place from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, before the funeral service, at the church. Memorials may be made to Our Savior Presbyterian Church, the Ridgecrest Memorial Fund or the Gideons.
