KINGMAN, Ariz. ? David Ray Dunbar, 82, of Kingman, Arizona, formerly of Rubio, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at his home.
Graveside burial will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 24, at Clay Cemetery near Rubio (just west of Lake Darling, off of Highway 78).
Mr. Dunbar was born Sept. 17, 1934, the son of Cloyce and Mabel (Telford) Dunbar. He was the eldest of nine children. He was a Korean War veteran. He and his wife, Betty, were blessed to raise eight children and to have many grandchildren and grandchildren.
Surviving are his companion, Margaret Smith of Kingman, Arizona; seven children, Nola Luebbert and husband Gene of Pella, Ted Dunbar and wife Shelia of Knoxville, Connie Duke Damm of San Antonio, Texas, Robert ?Bob? Dunbar of Fairfield, William ?Bill? Dunbar and wife Brenda of Plymouth, John Dunbar of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Susan Chidester and Bobbi of Harlingen, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Lisa Dunbar of Solon; six siblings, Ellen Odean and husband Dave, Martha Jirsa and husband Tom, Rollie Dunbar and wife Kathy, Mary Redlinger and husband Ron, Kevin Dunbar, and Deb Watson.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, Betty; his parents; one son, Larry; and two brothers, Richard, and Fred Dunbar.
