AMES ? Richard Lee ?Dick? Holmes, 85, of Ames, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, in Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.
A celebration of life memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 14, at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, 414 Lincoln Way in Ames. Burial with military honors will follow at Ames Municipal Cemetery. A gathering of friends and family visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Shrine Children?s Hospital.
