Sharon A. Cluney July 31, 1949 - September 3, 2003

      Sharon Arlene Cluney, 54, of Danville, died on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003, at her home.

      The graveside service will be at Long Creek Cemetery in Danville, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6 with the Rev. Harry Hollingsworth officiating. Visitation will begin after noon today at Elliott Chapel in New London until 4:30 p.m., with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to Crossroads Hospice of Southeast Iowa.

      Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Trisha Cluney at home; a son, Erick Cluney of West Des Moines; her mother, Beatrice Watson of Arbela, Mo.; and two sisters, Teresa Wurtzel of New London, and Cheryl Palmer of Brighton.

      She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
