Sharon Lou (Furgason) Ellis, 70, of Keota, died Friday, August 19, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Sharon was born March 4, 1952, in Rock Island, Illinois, to Junior W. and Joan M. Glasgow-Furgason. She grew up in West Chester and attended Mid Prairie High School. On June 6, 1979, she married Larry J. Ellis. Sharon worked at McCleery Cumming in Washington for 27 years and Manor House Care Center in Sigourney for 11 years. She enjoyed taking care of people.

Survivors include her husband, Larry of Keota; siblings, Diane, Beverly, Patricia, Rodney, Anthony, Shirley and Karen; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
