Sharon Smithburg

      Sharon Smithburg, 66, of Keota, formerly of Washington, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, in the Maplewood Manor Nursing Home in Keota after failing health for the past two years.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 15 in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Jim Bringman officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Friday in the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. A general memorial fund has been established.

      Mrs. Smithburg was born Feb. 22, 1942, in Cincinnati, the daughter of Ray Roy and Bessie (Van Blaircom) Milford. She married Donald F. Smithburg on Nov. 10, 1967 in Unionville, Mo.
