Sheila M. Hamberg

Sheila M. Hamberg, 57, of Keosauqua, died at 1 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16 at Keosauqua United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Byron Wixom officiating. Burial will be in Purdom Cemetery in Keosauqua. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15 at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with family present from 4 to 5 and 7 to 8 p.m. A celebration of her life will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17 at Town and Country Tavern. A memorial has been established for a special project at Riverview Club.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Scott Newlon of Blue Springs, Mo.; a daughter, Jody Newlon of New London; her mother and stepfather, Dorothy and James Draper of Keosauqua; three brothers, Dennis and Herbert Greenfield of Ottumwa, and Allan Draper of Loveland, Texas; and a sister, Theresa Arnett of Fountain, Colo.

      She was preceded in death by her father.
