Sherri F. Joy Gerst

Sherri F. Joy Gerst, 44, of Burlington, died at 6 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, at her home.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10 at Prugh's Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. Robert Adams officiating. Burial will be in Ferrell Cemetery in New London. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9 at the chapel, with family receiving friends. A memorial has been established.

Survivors include a daughter, Becky Gutzman of Burlington; two sons, Gary Gutzman of Lambertville, Mich., and Rick Berry of Raymore, Mo.; one granddaughter; a brother, James Joy of Belton, Mo.; and four sisters, Dixie Laipple of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Mary Kobus of Corpus Christi, Texas, Linda Noel of New London, and Betty Jern of Oquaqka, Ill.

      She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
