Sherry J. Hornbaker Overstreet

      Sherry J. Hornbaker Overstreet, 70, of Keosauqua, died at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at Arbor Spring Care Center in West Des Moines.

      A service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Saint Boniface Catholic Church in Farmington, with the Rev. Dennis Martin officiating. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery, southwest of Bonaparte.

      Open visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua. A rosary service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church, followed by visitation with the family from 7:30-8:30 p.m.

      Memorials may be left at the funeral home or church or may be mailed to the family at 20061 215th St., Keosauqua 52556. A memorial will be designated at a later time.

      Mrs. Overstreet was born June 11, 1938, in Keosauqua, the daughter of R. Eugene and LaVon Koonts Hannam. She married K. Dean Hornbaker March 4, 1956, in Farmington. He died March 15, 1980. She married R. Eugene "Potter" Overstreet Jan. 9, 1982, in Farmington. He died Dec. 16, 2004.
