Sherry Lynne Reid, 50, of Stockport, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022, due to injuries from an auto accident.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Behner Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Chaplain officiating. Burial will follow the service at Spencer Cemetery in Stockport, Iowa. The service will be livestreamed at Behner Funeral Home Crematory facebook page.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family and mailed to Sean Michael, 114 William Street, Stockport, IA 52651.

Sherry was born in Fairfield at the Jefferson County Hospital January 18, 1972, to Robert L and Judith M. (Conger) Ellis. She graduated from Pekin High School. Sherry married Sean Michael Reid on August 28, 2004, at the Prairie View United Methodist Church.

Sherry worked at Fairfield McDonalds for 15 years and July 2016 started working as a teller at State Central Bank. Since Sherry was born her family would camp at the Iowa State Fair. Some of her interests were creating fairy gardens, reading romance novels, crafting and watching Hallmark channel. Sherry was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

Sherry will be missed by her husband, Sean of Stockport; two children, Jenna Lynne and Jake Michael Reid, both at home; her dad, Robert Ellis; and two siblings, Jeff Ellis and Tammi Ellis.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph and Margaret Ellis and Woodrow and Wanda Conger; mother, Judith Ellis; and a nephew, Landon Ellis.
