Shirley J. Abbey
Shirley J. Abbey, 66, Mt. Pleasant, died at 11:14 a.m., Friday, June 8, 2001, at University Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 12 at the Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Traverce Harrison officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. Visitation will begin Monday morning, June 11, with family present from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the First Christian Church.
