Shirley Mae Arnold November 10, 1925 - June 14, 2005

Shirley Mae Arnold, 79, of New London, formerly of Denmark and Fort Madison, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield.

      The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 19, at Elliott Chapel in New London, with Pastor Richard White officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Burial will be at a later date in Burge Cemetery in New London. Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the chapel with family present from 1:30 to 3 p.m. A memorial has been established.

Survivors include a son, John Arnold of New London; a daughter, Pansy A. Swailes of New London; and four grandchildren.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
