Silas 'Jay' Finke Jr.
Silas "Jay" Finke Jr., 73, of Crawfordsville, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002, at University of Iowa Hospitals, following a sudden illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at United Church of Crawfordsville, with the Rev. Diana Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Cambrian Cemetery in rural Columbus Junction. Visitation begins at noon on Tuesday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 5:30 to 8 p.m., and a Masonic Lodge service will begin at 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Iowa Lions Club Sight and Hearing Foundation or the United Church of Crawfordsville.
