Stanley L. Johnson April 1, 1940 - April 23, 2004

Stanley L. Johnson, 64, of rural Hillsboro, died at 4:52 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2004, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28 at Stockport United Methodist Church, with Pastor Mike Renken officiating. Burial will be in Hillsboro Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon today at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with family present from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials have been established to Stockport United Methodist Church or the Respiratory Department of Van Buren County Hospital and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 31162 145th St., Hillsboro, IA 52630.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ricky and his wife Elisabeth Johnson of Omaha, Neb., and Jason and his wife Debra Johnson of Stockport; two grandchildren; two brothers, Gary and his wife Vicki Johnson of Ottumwa, and Charles and his wife Linda Johnson of Manitou Springs, Colo.; and two sisters, Patty and her husband Ron Anderson of Mooresville, Ind., and Judy and her husband Jack Barnett of Elizabeth, Colo.

      He was preceded in death by his parents.
