Stanley Skinner

CEDAR RAPIDS ? Stanley Russell Skinner, 74, of Washington, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at his home after a three-year struggle with Parkinson?s disease.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 1, at the Washington County Extension office at the Fairgrounds in Washington.

Mr. Skinner was born Jan. 10, 1943, the son of Russell and Mary (Nicholson) Skinner in West Chester. He married Roberta Hess on Nov. 16, 1963.

He was baptized as one of Jehovah?s Witnesses in the year 2012.

Surviving are his wife, Roberta; three children, Steven Skinner of Iowa City, Becky Skinner of Kalona, and Kristy Roth of LaGrange, Indiana; six grandchildren; one sister, Pat Hacker of Cedar Rapids; and one brother, Charles Corpman and wife Jerolyn of rural Brighton.
