Stephanie Fletcher

Stephanie Alexa (Davison) Fletcher, 44, formerly of Wayland, died Saturday, April 9, 2016, in Florida.

A celebration of life service will be held, Sunday, May 1, at Lake Darling Lodge in rural Brighton. Family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m., with a service at 4 p.m.

Mrs. Fletcher was born March 14, 1972, in Iowa City.

She was the daughter of Rollin and Laurie Davison of Wayland. She graduated from WACO High School and attended Kirkwood Community College, where she received a nursing degree. She was the proud mother of two children, Riley and Hayden Fletcher. She was a loyal friend and loved animals. She enjoyed spending time with her children and her grandmother, Helen Davison.

Surviving are two children, Riley Fletcher, age 10, and Hayden Fletcher, age 7, of Clearwater, Florida; her parents, Rollin and Laurie (Holden) Davison of Wayland; five siblings, Ryan Walker and wife Shanon of Washington, Aaron Walker and wife Tara of Clarksville, Tennessee, Heather Freyenberger and husband Steve of Wayland, Michelle Boshart and husband Chris of Wayland, and Ross Davison and wife Brittany of Wayland; her paternal grandmother, Helen Davison of Wayland; her maternal grandfather, Harvey Holden of Washington; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her birth mother, Lora (Golden) Davison; her paternal grandfather, William Russell Davison; her maternal grandmother, Ruth Holden; and one cousin.
