Stephen L. Drummond

Stephen Lowell Drummond, 56, of Waterloo, formerly of Farmington, died Saturday, Jan. 12, at Harmony House in Waterloo.

His body has been cremated. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home and Crematory in Farmington, where the family will meet with friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

A memorial has been established in his memory.

He was born May 12, 1951, in Ft. Madison, the son of Lowell and Doris Munford Drummond. He worked as a guard at the Iowa State Penitentiary in Fort Madison.

He is survived by his daughter, Megan Kirchner and her husband Shane of Argyle; one sister, Cheryl Morgan and her husband Jay of Williamstown, Mo.; one brother, Gary Drummond of Johnston; and one granddaughter.

His parents preceded him in death.
