Stephen 'Steve' Stagner

      WASHINGTON - Stephen "Steve" Stagner, 56, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayettesville, Ark.

      Graveside services for his cremains will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005, at Elm Grove Cemetery in Wasington, with the Rev. Ken Smith officiating. Full military rites will be accorded. Family and friends will meet at Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant at 9:30 a.m. to go to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 22, at Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. A general memorial has been established.

      Mr. Stagner was born in Mt. Pleasant, Oct. 31, 1948, to Franklin Dean and Helen (Humphrey) Stagner. He married Mary Marline Verser Ellison, Sept. 15, 1973, in Springdale, Ark.
