Steve 'Frog' Farnsworth

Steve "Frog" Farnsworth, 57, of Mount Pleasant died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, in the Henry County Health Center emergency room.

      A service is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Dr. Jerry Kelly officiating. Mr. Farnsworth will be cremated following the service.

      Visitation began at noon today at the chapel, with the family present from 6-8 p.m. Memorials have been established to the American Cancer Society and Mrs. Terry Mertens' living skills classroom at Van Allen Elementary School.

      Mr. Farnsworth was born on Oct. 29, 1948, in Burlington, the son of Monte K. and Virginia D. Miller Farnsworth. He married Susan Stanley Hunter Oct. 30, 1998, at First Presbyterian Church in Mount Pleasant.
