Steven Orms

BRIGHTON ? Steven Wayne Orms, 63, of Brighton, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, at his home.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 16, at Pleasant Plain Friends Church in Pleasant Plain with the Rev. Rick Zickefoose officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the church. Gould Funeral Home of Brighton is assisting the family.

Mr. Orms was born Nov. 26, 1952, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Duane Phillip ?Doc? and Mary Margaret ?Mag? (Avery) Orms.

He grew up in the Fairfield area and attended Fairfield area schools. He traveled a great deal, delivering Winnebago Campers for the past 18 years. He also lived and worked from Burnsville, Minnesota, and Raytown, Missouri, and was a member of the Freedom Trikers in Brighton.

Surviving are his mother, of Brighton; two sisters, Tierney Hanshaw and husband Gene of Brighton, and Phyllis Adrian and husband Terry of Fairfield; one brother, Kevin Orms of Fairfield; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.
