Susan Anne Towns

Susan Anne Towns, 63, of Stronghurst, Ill., died at 9:10 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2005, at her home.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 5 at Stronghurst United Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Richard Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Stronghurst Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Banks and Beals Funeral Home in Stronghurst, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established to Stronghurst Senior Citizens, Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab and Stronghurst United Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband; her mother of Stronghurst; a son, Bob Towns of Brownstown, Ill.; five daughters, Bonnie Christianson of Waynesville, Ill., Brenda Woltz of Bloomington, Ill.., Becky Albert of McClean, Ill., Lily Walker of Denver, Colo., and Annette Bragg of Denver, Colo.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Deanna Mesecher of Decatur, Ill.

      She was preceded in death by her father.
