Susan I. Schneider March 31, 1951 - May 23, 2005

Susan Irene Schneider, 54, of Burlington, formerly of Fort Madison, died at 8:40 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2005, at Park View Care Center.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 27 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Burlington, with Bishop Jonathan Snow officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 26 at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established.

Survivors include two sons, Stuart William Schneider of the U.S. Navy, Bahrain, and Paul Martin Schneider of North Liberty; two daughters, Audra Louise Hutton of Des Moines, and Emily Dawn Krack of Connecticut; four grandchildren; her mother of Douds; two brothers, Michael Nichols of Fort Madison, and Thomas Nichols of Ames; a sister, Sarah Nichols of Stanford, Ill; and a special friend, Robert Schneider.

      She was preceded in death by a son and her father.
