Ted Leland Saforek
Ted Leland Saforek, 79, of Washington, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A celebration of life will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 23, at the Fern Cliff Evangelical Free Church in rural Wayland, with the Rev. Bob Spilger officiating. Burial will follow at the Fern Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A general memorial fund has been established.
