In Loving Memory of Teddy TeBockhorst,
a Man of
Unforgettable Character
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Teddy TeBockhorst who lived a remarkable 69 years filled with hard work, inappropriate jokes, and a unique blend of charm and candor. He was certainly one-of-a-kind and leaves a mark that will be hard to forget.
Teddy was known for his unwavering commitment to those he held dear. While not always the most warm and fuzzy to those who had the pleasure of doing service with him through the years, those fortunate enough to be within his inner circle experienced the sincerity of his affections. He would go to great lengths for the people he cared about.
A man of colorful language, Teddy had a mouth that could both shock and amuse. His words were a reflection of his unfiltered spirit, unafraid to speak his mind and stand firm in his convictions. Yet, beneath the rough exterior, there lay a genuine and caring soul that endeared him to those who truly knew him.
Teddy lived a life that navigated many twists and turns, accumulating experiences that colored the tapestry of his existence. He faced challenges with his chest out, and his determination was a testament to the strength that resided within him.
One of Teddy’s defining qualities was his relentless stubbornness alongside his extremely practical and functional fashion sense. He would never admit when he needed a break, or accept defeat when his cutoff shorts had become too short. He would be the first to admit that he lived 9 lives in his time here.
As we say our goodbyes, let us remember the man who lived life to the fullest and never accepted the social norm. Though he may no longer walk among us, his stories will live on for years to come in the hearts of those who walked in his journey.
May Teddy rest in peace, leaving behind a legacy that reminds us that our houses are all junk, everyone is brain dead, and dancing does not require pants.
