The Rev. Kenneth Eugene Goodwin

      The Rev. Kenneth Eugene Goodwin, 92, of Washington, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, in the Parkview Manor in Wellman.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, in the First Assembly of God Church in Washington with the Rev. James Cluney and the Rev. Gary Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will begin at noon Friday in the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Washington County or Parkview Manor in Wellman.

      Mr. Goodwin was born April 20, 1915, in Rogers, Ark., the son of John Merric and Addie Mae (Creech) Goodwin. He married Opal Beatrice Moore on Sept. 12, 1935 in Iowa City.
