Thelma Mae Turner

Thelma Mae Turner, 79, died Monday, April 24, 2000, in Cottonwood, Ariz.

The body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Turner was born July 15, 1920, in Mt. Union, the daughter of Walter and Hazel Moore Brandmeyer. She was married to Bruce Turner. She was educated at Colfax School and New London Community High School.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Glenda Samples of Longview, Texas; two sisters, Ruth E. Dunn of Mt. Pleasant and Shirley Simkin of Clinton; a brother, Irl Brandmeyer of Mt. Pleasant; five step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; and a step-great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a stepdaughter; two brothers; and two sisters.
