Theodore 'Ted' W. Scherer
Theodore "Ted" W. Scherer, 70, New London, died at 1:11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001, at Henry County Health Center.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 16 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Mt. Pleasant, with Father Nicholas Adam, the Revs. Tom Palmer and Charlie Sander officiating. Burial will be in Burge Cemetery in New London. Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 at the Elliott Chapel in New London with no family visitation. A memorial has been established to the Fellowship Cup and the St. Alphonsus Building Fund.
