Thomas Alfred Ford, of Mt. Pleasant, IA, passed Tuesday, October 8, 2024, of a sudden onset illness. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Sue Rieger and Billie Wyllie of Hertford, NC, and Linda Lee of Kansas City, MO. Tom also had three nieces and two nephews. His church family was also an important part of his life in so many ways and the family is grateful for all their love and support.

Tom was born September 11, 1964. His passions included The Beatles, local history, and his art. He was an active volunteer member of The Mt. Pleasant Historical Preservation Commission, and shared this passion through his many paintings of local landmarks. His most recent projects included a series of Central Park images. He also recently shared Edgar Allan Poe paintings with his niece, which she will forever cherish.

A small, private ceremony is being planned.
