Thomas D. and Shelli Jo Sheetz

      Thomas D. and Shelli Jo Sheetz died Wednesday, November 8, 2006 in a tragic motorcycle accident in Queen Creek, Arizona.

      Tom Sheetz was born February 10, 1955 in Washington, Iowa the son of Dale W. and Laura J. (Murphy) Sheetz. He graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1973, and then attended college at the University of Iowa. He was a paramedic for the Washington County Ambulance for a number of years, before moving to Phoenix, Arizona. While in Arizona he worked construction before going to work for the City of Tempe, and most recently was employed by the town of Gilbert as a pavement maintenance specialist.

      He had been a member of the Mericopa County Posse until moving to Pinal County, where he was on the Pinal County Sheriff's Posse. He also managed security for Country Thunder Events that featured many well known country artists.

      Shelli Jo Simpson was born January 11, 1953 in Davenport, Iowa the daughter of Keith and Donna (Eyer) Simpson.
